Our Mission
Empowering our neighborhood to foster food security and urban biodiversity through sustainable gardening practices and collaborative learning.
The Eric Street Community Garden is a registered non-profit, volunteer-run space dedicated to fostering community, environmental stewardship, and local food production.
The garden is managed by a volunteer board of directors and invites gardeners of all ages and experience levels to participate in growing fresh produce, connecting with neighbors, and sharing gardening knowledge.
Contact us at contact@escg.ca to learn more about volunteering, donations, or plot registration.
Location
We are located at 30 Eric Street in St. John's, a community garden serving local residents with access to sustainable gardening and shared growing space.
Our site includes several raised beds, a communal plot, and shared spaces that are maintained and supported by volunteers.
Why We Garden
- Build community connections through shared gardening and events.
- Grow vegetables, herbs, and fruits using organic, low-impact practices.
- Support local food resilience and environmental responsibility.
Our garden is a welcoming place for everyone. Whether you want a private plot or to help care for the community bed, your contributions make the garden stronger.
